Intensive Seminars at the Centre For Expressive Therapy

Art, Play, Sand Play & Other Expressive Therapies
  •  Intended for adult and/or child therapists who want to incorporate and/or further develop the use of expressive therapies in their practice. All courses offered are at a Master's or higher level of instruction.
  •  All courses are taught by Marie-José Dhaese, PhD, RCC, ATR, RPT-S, CPT-S and the content based on Holistic Expressive Play Therapy.
  •  Each seminar is designed to provide participants with an intensive learning experience that includes the opportunity to explore their own image making process.
  •  The number of participants is limited to eight people.

COST:  Includes the use of materials & certificate of attendance. Does not include food and accommodation .

CEU credits: 6 credits per day for seminars specific to play therapy. Each day, we will start at 9 am and end at 4:30 pm with one hour lunch break and a short coffee break in the morning and in the afternoon.

Participants will be provided with a certificate based on attendance. For participants wanting to count the continuing education credits towards certification with CAPT, a certificate of attendance will now require not only full attendance but also a successful student evaluation component in the form of an essay.

Registration and cancellation policy:
Space in the seminar will not be confirmed until payment has been received for each individual seminar. Cancellation must be received by telephone and in writing one month prior to the date of the seminar or the whole amount will be forfeited. Before that date, $100.00 will be held for administrative fees.

Please do not wear any scented products in consideration for those suffering from environmental allergies.
