Association for Play Therapy conferences,
where she has also given a number of
pre-conference workshops: Vancouver, BC, Breckenridge,
Colorado, San
Antonio, Texas; Ede, Holland; Norfolk,
Virginia; and Toronto, Ontario.
She has also given workshops at the
Centre for Play Therapy Summer Institute
(University of Texas, Denton, Texas) on
several occasions as well as
institutions where she was the sole
presenter for two or more days for the
Mental Health Community Consultation
Unit – University of British Columbia,
and the Association of Community Mental
Health Centers of Kansas, Wichita,
Kansas.
She has been the presenter and key note
speaker for the annual conference of a
number of professional associations such
as:
Marie-José has been teaching for over 30 years at the Justice Institute Of British Columbia, (JIBC) in British Columbia, Canada, where a Certificate on Expressive Play Therapy
is now offered. She was granted the "Instructor of The Year" Award for 2011. As of June, 2014, classes that were previously held at the JIBC will be conducted in Parksville.
